Golden Bough - 45th Anniversary Concert

Acclaimed Celtic folk trio, Golden Bough celebrates its anniversary in style, performing musical highlights from 4.5 decades of touring throughout North America, Europe, and Japan.

Margie Butler, Paul Espinoza, and Kathy Sierra sing lively tunes and beautiful ballads in three-part harmony, backing themselves on an array of acoustic instruments from the Celtic harp, guitar, octave-mandolin, mandolin, and violin, to the accordion, bodhran, and penny‑whistle.

Golden Bough has captured the traditional Celtic songs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, The Isle of Man, French Brittany, and Spanish Galicia – plus songs of Celtic immigrants to North America – on stage and in more than 35 recordings.  Audience favorites also include originals like “Black Jack Davy.” Songs for this anniversary concert were suggested by devoted Golden Bough fans.
